Have you ever started a fitness routine or diet and QUIT before you reached your goal?
Why do you suppose that was?
Often we rationalize and tell ourselves it was too hard, we’re too busy, or we just lost “motivation”.
But chances are you were screwed from the get go. WHY?
Because a lot of people tell you that you need focus on what you want, how you want to feel, how you want to look,
but I have found that what’s more powerful, what will keep you motivated and push through the tough obstacles is….
DOING EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO AVOID WHAT YOU DON’T WANT
That’s why we are afraid to look in the mirror or get on the scale sometimes. Because it’s pretty damn painful.
And avoiding that pain, doing what you need to do to move AWAY from it, is often a MUCH stronger motivator than “losing 20 pounds”.
And reminding yourself of what you don’t want, what you refuse to accept in your life anymore, is often the best motivator.
So the question is…..
What are REFUSING to accept in your life from here on out?
And how will you use that to get you to where you WANT to be?
